If you guys want to get a little meet happening in the 400/7 Area (Specifically AMC 30) then I could POSSIBLY arrange for meal discounts at BIG STAR CAFE. I work there and I'm sure that the GM would cut us a discount. Makes it a little more worthwhile when you're getting half price wings or something. Just throwing it out there to see if there is interest.

I think you've got a good direction going here Jazz, thanx for the effort you are putting in, but my vote would be to make it on a seperate day, or atleast make it a couple hours after the 12pm meet at Yorkdale, if another day isn't possible.

Mar 11 sounds fair. I'm not sure how many people would be willing to give up 2 Sundays in a row for their car but this will be the date for now. If Mar 18 is better for the MAJORITY then we will change it but let's try and get it together for MARCH 11. All agree?

Never been to whirly ball but I heard you guys had a meet there one time. Sounds good but I don't want to take a vote on the board. If the majority vote for whirlyball but none of those voters show up to the meet I don't want the others to be stuck with that event. The best thing to do would be to vote at the meet itself. D&B, Putting Edge, Movies, etc. Something within walking distance.

We do have a price break on food. 2 for 1 pizza and $0.35 wings. Also, there are drink specials. Unfortunately, it's against the law to advertise prices on alcohol but it's a good deal.

Now that the date is just around the corner I thought I would post directions. Unfortunately, I am horrible at giving directions. The meeting place will be the south parking lot between Dave & Busters and Big Star. You can see D&B from the highway as you exit onto the #7 ramp. The entire complex is on the Southeast corner of 400/#7. If someone still needs DETAILED directions then please let me know, I will try and find a map of the location. If you can give better directions then please do so.

Once again, MARCH 11 - 12:00PM. Is there still interest or should I cancel it? Remember I'm only doing this because people complained about Yorkdale, so here's your chance to show some support for a new location.

It's not meant as a replacement for Yorkdale. If it was then I would have held it on the same day. If you remember, the reason I set it to a different day was because I didn't want to step on anyones toes and force them to make a choice between the two locations. This is meant to bring out the members who don't like Yorkdale but still want to meet other guys.

I hope people haven't gotten the impression that I will be holding this EVERY month. Maybe once every 3 months or so.
