Once again everybody is welcome.

Scott and I went to the last Yorkdale meet. Perhaps a few of the T.O. member(s) could come over. What best of a meet that an event were you can put your car on the track or go with someone else if you don't dare to use your Sled for what it was intented to???

BTW; I'll "try" to ask the Owner of the Track if we could also use the Skidpad. That one could be cool.

Raise your hand if you are comming.

Ghislain.

Oh man! I'm going to be there all weekend as it is (2-day lapping event). Might as well
stay for another day, eh?

Yep, ride what you bring. Cost $20 for 5 Laps or $5 each. Gig starts at 5:30pm till sun down. No helmet required and you only need to sign a waiver. They space you out so you won't come in contact with anybody else. Safe way to play.

Come over to see what it is about.

Yo Allan. I'll drop at the track to see what you guys are doing. What time is it going to be??? I'll bring my helmet that way I might be able to hich a ride with you...

You need a helmet to go in the car with someone else?

No you don't. You still need to sign the waiver even if you are just coming as a pasenger.

Just want to say that it is not mandatory to wear a helmet but a few of us wear one. Well, wife makes me, lol.

Remember, on the 28th, there is a lapping event at Shannonville. $40 to do as many laps as you want in 3 hours. Need a helmet. Will be lots of cool cars there.

Send me an e-mail if you're interested.

Ghislain,

The lapping days run from 9am-4:30pm both Saturday and Sunday. I've already been warned that I
can't take passengers (even with helmets), but helpers do get free track time at the end of the day.

The format is alternating 20-minute sessions with 4 groups on Saturday (2 on Fabi, 2 on Nelson)
and 2 groups on Sunday (Long track). There is another Talon going, but I don't know who it is.

I'll probably be lapped out after this, but I may come on Monday as well.

Ok Allan. I'll try to drop in on both days.

Hey Ghislain,

If you offer to help out, they may give you some track time for free! Workers get lapping
time behind a pace car after clean up each day.

Chris et all,

It's a club event, but anyone can join in. The MCO arranges it every year, but it usually fills
up in Feb. I can post the details for next year when I get them.

Interesting. Might be doing something with Lisa tomorrow. Will drop sometime during the day.

I'll bring my helmet and might make myself available depending on my schedule...

Hey all.

Lots of fun tonight.

Finally seen some representation from T.O. Cris Poe and and two of his buddys showed up. That was nice to see.

Tim did his best ever at 2:12 and Scott did a 2:05 (Punk) using his new rubber.

My machine got a little hot, cough cough. Got to work on this one tomorrow. Make it happy for Thursday night Laping.

Later everyone.

Ghislain.

Yeah but we needed MORE people.... We gotta see some of those guys with the FMIC's and 20G's with AFC and all run this course [Linked Image].. I agree it's FAAAAAAARRRR... But it was fun.. I did ONE lap on Sunoco 92+Booster.. and it took out my whole quarter of a tank... DOH! Then I put 87 pump gas.. and did two more laps... (so slooww) and the gas didn't go down at all!...

They only timed my last lap when I had the 87 running.. but I think it's alright for my third time on the track... 2:15

I gotta get the A/F gauge so I can start getting air in past that ECU [Linked Image]

How busy was it? How many laps did you guys do?

Can't wait to go... [Linked Image]

The guys who usually go there said it was the busiest they have ever seen it.. There were about 15 cars lined up at one time.. But they go pretty fast [Linked Image] 15 mins and you get your turn... and by the end there was only one car who did like 5 laps in a row..
That guy must have some spare tires waiting at home [Linked Image]))

Next date is July/30. Always on Monday.

Chris; 2:15 is a good time. Remember that both Mustang did not do any better... And BTW for those who did not show up, one of those Stang had "Roush" Body Kit, Brakes and Wheels and a Supercharger.

The second one was all over the place, oversteeeered (And I mean terminal oversteer into the weeds) like crazy in order to make a decent time. So yes, 2:15 is good. Got to love those DSM...

Ghislain.
