The meet is still 2 weeks away. 2 weeks around here, the weather should be in 5 - 10 degree celsius in the daytime and barely dipping below zero in the evening so I think we will be ok. The only thing for yopu storers, the seepers will not have gone by yet so hopefully a few days of really hard rain to help wash the dried salt away.

Hi guys,

It looks like there are quite a few Ottawa members on this board. I'll definitely try to make it out on April 7th. I'll still have my winter tires/wheels on but at least it adds one more DSM to the mix.

It looks like there's going to be a great turnout for our first "large" meet. Just remember to bring along your e-mail address written down on a piece of paper so you can hand it to me once we meet, this way I can add you to the Ottawa DSM mailing list to keep you guys up to date on what's going on in the area.

There are other things that we must discuss, which I'll bring up once everyone is present, mostly revolving around getting our own web space. I'm having fun designing the Ottawa web site, and I'm sure everyone will enjoy it once I can upload it. We have to represent Ottawa and it's members... After all, we ARE Canada's capital.

Nope, Sunday, 3pm, Merivale Mall across from the high school. People say there is an actual open pool hall/restaurant there we can go to and hang out, eat, etc. Especially if the weather is bad. So far calling for cloud and showers but that changes every 12 hours.

Today is the day boys. Please do not say the "R" or "S" word as to not jinx this day. Anyway, one quick word, if anyone wants to sell something, maybe bring it by today seeing most serious Talon owners will be there today. Example, I need injectors. 550cc or bigger. HINT, HINT. Se everyone there. Also remember, daylight savings, so if you did not change your clock and it says 1pm, it is actually 2pm. It happened to me this am. I had hockey at 11am, left my houst at 11am thinking it was 10am. Bye bye.

Good turnout today! I know there were a few pics taken, I should have brought the digital camera and had everyone line up.

It sure feels good to have my baby back out on the road again!

I hope everyone enjoyed themselved today, we should schedule a regular time and place for everyone to meet, and try to get that rolling. I know we tried a few times in the past, but if we can make it an event that people are interested in going to (M&M, B&A, Place d'Orleans cruise nights, etc.), then it will be easier to organise.

I only took 5 with my digital camera. Too bad more people did not come out. I was going to post I on my www but not enough. I will wait until the next one, when there are more cars, and we can arrange some kind of planned photo. Place the cars in some kind of order. ANyways, hopefully more than 10 cars, 15 poeple nest time. The fact is was below zero did not help. Damn weather. Nice to meet alot of you and put faces with names. They are in Kanata with a litter either just born or here very soon, different moms and pops of course. Very professional. Well kept too. He is the best dog by far I have ever had. Temperment is amazing. With 2 litle girls running around you have to worry. Not anymore. He has NEVER shown signs of aggression to any human so far in the 2 years we have had him, of course undeserving aggression. He hates the mail man and flyers guy. Is very protective of us, especially the kids. Outside, if the girls run to far, he rans after them and knocks them down and almost motions them to come back. Pretty amazing at times.

The only thing about him is he hates other dogs and will not get along. He is controllable about it, just does not want any K9 friends I guess. I tired the doggy school but he would not have it. If he was bad about it, it would be a problem but he isn't. I will bring him to car events when I am not staying long and its warm out. Loves the sunroof thing in the summer.
