How does Sunday May 12th at 3pm at the Scratch parking lot sound for you guys?

Place D'Orleans Cruise Nights start Wednesday May 15. That might be another option.

I think the Scratch is better as the Orleans show will be to packed for us have a meet there and parking together will be a bitch

Don't care. I will show up. Just to quote me from earlier, it snowed a little today, in May. C'mon warm weather.

Maybe not the Orleans car show, but out a little towards Orleans...or in Orleans somewhere would be cool. Theres lots of Tim Hortons around here that rice boys hang out and show off there sunfires, neons and cavaliers every night....would be nice to show them up with our cars.

Actually, now that I think about it, I recall there being a huge empty parking lot right behind the CanadaTrust Bank, at Bank and Heron Rd. It is directly across the street from the Canadian Tire. I've never seen any cars parked there in the past.. I believe it used to be an old Staples Business Depot.

Im sure the Canadian Tire parking lot will be packed at 3 on Sunday.

I noticed a couple of weeks back that the Ottawa Golf GTI Club had their meeting and parked along the section next to Bank St. at the Great Canadian Bagel shop in the South Keys Plaza. Good visability with all that traffic on Bank Sunday afternoon.
May 12th is out for me too. Running a marathon that day then sitting in a tub with a few beers and smokes. Little else...

Why not stick to the original idea of the Le Skratch parking lot... It's a large lot and if we get there early enough we should have quite the variety of parking spaces to choose from, for group pictures, T&T's, whatever. I'm sure we'll figure something out in time, anyway.

I personally being in Orleans....would prefer something more central at least....around riverside, bank, or st.laurent.

Would make it fair to both sides of the city. Nepean is far for me from Cumberland

I like the South Keys idea or something more central.

As I wrote before, couple of weeks back the Ottawa Golf GTI Club had their meeting and parked along the section next to Bank St. at the Great Canadian Bagel shop in the South Keys Plaza. If you park right along the edge of the lot a little away from the Bagel/Coffee shop it's usually free. There's good visability with all that traffic on Bank passing by Sunday afternoons.
There's also the huge empty OC Transo lot on the other side, although the cops like to hang there and eat donnuts.

I'm out in Cumberland too. It would be great to see the meet happen some where a little further east then last time. My 2 cents.
