I personally black them out for security and privacy purposes. All of us have that right to that and there should be no fuss about it. Thats my 2 cents worth.
Anyone else want to add to that?

Maeby i miss understood. But the way i herd is wrong. I don't know why people would tell you to do that. YOu're just venting metered air causing you to run excessively rich. Yes you can vent if you have a supportive setup like a MAF-T. But is all that really worth it for a louder woosh? I've recirculated since the day I bought my car and think it's a heat bag enough already. I just picked up a Greddy Type S which will only make things worse in my opinion. My car is loud enough already...

On the liscence plate thing, crooks can track your car down and steal it or steal parts from it if they get your address, which I don't want to see happen to anyone here. September yorkdale there was some guy in a Mazda driving around taking pictures of all the cars, I got his plate # just in case there ever was a problem like that.

if you're caught doing 140kmh in a 100 zone = a few points 150kmh in a 100 zone, you'll be arrested. 350kmh in a 100 zone, you'll be shot. On the side of the road. Like a rabid dog...
