I was screwing off the oil filter and the thread bolt came out with it. I screwed it back in...but while I was doing so I notice the oil cooler could be moved around (up & down). Does the oil cooler part "seat" in a certain position or am I okay just tightening the thread bolt until it's tight? I noticed there was a *small* amount of oil (really really little) coming out of that area somewhere. Just wanted to makes sure so it doesn't just gush out all at once one day.

Tighten the "bolt" just enough to make the seal. Resist the temptation to "make sure it doesn't come loose again". If you overtighten that bolt, the cooler can be crushed and leak internally.
There is a simple square cross section seal in there that doesn't require a lot of force to seal properly. You may want to clean the mating surfaces in there before tightening it up. New seals are available from the dealer if you need one.
Good Luck!
