Hey everyone, well I have another problem. Last night I was racing down the highway when my car started to burn and leak oil. I parked at home and there was a big puddle of oil under my car. In the past I have blown my oil return line Twice and it's too damn expensive to replace any one have any suggestions to why my car keeps blowing this line. Also when I am parked in idle my RPM's keep surging back and forth between 1000-1500 rpms. Thanks everyone

I assume you mean the line going from the turbo to the oil pan?? Are you sure its blown?? Mine keeps leaking, have had it to the shop three times to have it fixed but the leak remains. Its common with these cars. If its not blown, then its more than likely the seal to the oil pan.

If it is the pipe from the turbo to the oil pan then check the flex section. Mine had pin holes and a small crack, I got it brazed and it's been ok for 2 years now.

Mine "sweats" around the gasket on the oil pan. I've replaced the gasket numerous times without success. It doesn't drip by any means, but it is annoying. I think I might try the braided stainless-steel oil return line from Road Race. Has any body here tried it?

Have you guys used the new oil return line gaskets from the dealership? Several years ago when I had this leak, the gasket I bought was just a plain gasket. The second time I got this leak the new gasket I bought had a bead of silicone around the hole on both sides.

Yep! I've used factory replacement gaskets both times. Still sweats.

I know this is an old item, but go talk to Mike or Alvi at Magnus, they can cut-out the flex section and replace it with a hydraulic oil hose.
