i got a 95 ESi without A/C. My power steering belt slips off whenever I get about 4000 rpm's. I have replaced it 3 times in the last 2 months. Both pullys look to be straight and dent free. They also seem to be aligned properly. What the hell could be causing this??? It is really starting to bug me. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Best guess, not tight enough. The manual says that the belt shouldn't move more than a centimeter when you push on it hard. If it's loose enough it will start skipping around and probably get thrown off. If you are tightening the belt right, make sure you're tightening the bolts that hold the power steering pump on hard enough as well. If the bolts aren't tight enough the pump will start sliding back and the belt will keep getting more loose until it flies off again.
