Dear 1G drivers,

I need your help before I go taking the door's apart I figured I would get the edge on whats up. I have a 1G eagle talon. Shes a 93 AWD Turbo, and she is lock possesed.

I say that because I can not unlock her with my key on the driver side door, and when I unlock her on the passanger she locks herself.

I can get in from the passenger, but i have to grab the handle before it locks itself again.

When I put the key in the driver side, it does not move.. Only forward not backwards, it does not unlock at all. Even when I am in the driver seat I try flicking the lock manualy and it just goes back to the lock position. I need help, it seems the electronics are messed up and i was wondering if anyone has had the same problem.

Please comply, my center colum is takin a beating with me going over it everyday.

I had the "auto locking" and non moveable door lock options too... but the other way around...

I cured the auto-locking by lubricating the mecanism inside the door with dry grafite... still not able to unlock from the outside on the passenger side but at least now both doors unlock and stays like that until I want to lock it!

For mine, just the driver side door lock doesn't work.. it shifts around inside the door or something.. I never bothered fixing it, the previous owner did it every week or something.. I just have an alarm with power door locks..
