headlights cloudy? #115449

Ok first off I have searched for this, but i want to know more.
Ok so I sanded my headlights with the 2000 grit, and polished with the mothers aluminum polish and they are still cloudy.
Is this because i need to polish and buff it more?, should i have sanded it in one direction?
I'm dying here, help me.

Needs ALOT of elbow grease. And you can start with 1000 Grit. Move to 2000 Dry, 2000 WET Then Aluminum Polish

I spent nearly 1 hour each lense. Good luck.

How did you remove the headlights cover?

I used a buffer with aluminum polish it takes 10 mins don't kill yourself buy a buffer use it and return it no big deal.
