I did some research and I can't believe it.

Please tell me this is wrong.

In order to change the fog light bulb I have to remove the entire front bumper?

that's 100% false

Reach around to the back of it and turn the connector out. Just follow the wires and turn. It'll pop right out.

You can get to it from the back. There are access holes under the bumper.

Removing them isn't too hard anyway. Only 3 screws.

They snap really easily from rust. All that winter driving is not very good for them.
