Well A little while ago I took the car out and launched it really hard. Not slipping the clutch like I generally do. Fine and good.

Next day Go to drive off, revs are going up but not speed. GREAT I think another clutch.

Park and get out, I am leaking fluid. Look under hood and the bracket that holds the driverside front axle is flopping around and bolt is no where to be found. Inner axle boot ripped and grease went everywhere then liquified and dripped.

Park the car. Fast forward one week

I drive the car short distance to garage and hoist that I have access to. Get underneath, the axle has come out of the tranny partially, Showing about an inch of shinny metal that should be in tranny.

So I push it back in and bolt the bracket in. Axle cannont move out anymore. I change and fill all driveline fluids. Start the car and put in gear. All wheels turn except for the driverside front. I swear quietly and curse my car

Also to note is with the car off I can spin the driverside wheel and the two back spin and the passenger side spins as well. Also to note is driverside caliper is partially siezed.

So anyways I take the car out and drive home. The car doesnt feel like the clutch is slipping anymore though.

So where do I go from here? Thanks for the long read and help. frown smile

I think you just need to fix that caliper maybe?

That's what the diff does. If the driver side caliper's seized, the power will transfer to the other three wheels.

If the driver side axle was free, all the power wouls go to it and the car wouldn't move.

I think you're good.
