Can I recommend one of these?

I got one a couple of years ago and it's paid for itself atleast 5 times. Boosting me and countless others stuck in parking lots.

Those booster packs are wicked, especially with the 110v built in invertor, power went out here once and I still managed to watch tv on my lunch break.

Also it saved my ass a few times with a dead battery, but I just borrowed it from a friend I need to go buy one.

do you keep these plugged in?

what happens when it's fully charged? do you disconnect it and leave it until you DO need it?

i have an old one that i JUST picked up a universal adapter for...it's charged now so i won't get stuck again but i don't want it to discharge

at the dealership i worked at they had one but they never left it charging

Plug it in over night once every 3 months and then stick it back in the trunk until you need it or 3 months goes by again. I got mine on sale 2 years ago for $20. Sweeeeet.

I have also used booster pack to sub in for a dead battery. Pull out battery, drop in booster and drive to Crappy tire. Quick charge or warranty replace then booster out and back in business.

I think I got about six boosts out of mine and there was still more left.

Considering jumper cables cost as much as one of these booster packs, and you'd need someone to offer their car, this is an excellent device to have.

I got stuck in an intersection one day, but was able to get going again in time for the next light change, thanks to my booster pack.

Just make sure to turn the switch to the ON position before you check how much reserve you have.
