Well first I don't think you'de need the second IC if you have a front mount unless you're making searious power. And second every IC has some pressure loss so why I would you want to put 2 sources of pressure loss in the system? But what about moving the stock IC to the front of the car, for those of us that can't afford a fmic right now ? ------------------ 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD My Attempt at a website

Ya Vince, that sounds good to me! If only I had the skills to do something like that on my own...

Two intercoolers typically aren't as good as one efficient FMIC. But there's nothing wrong with the idea. Some of the turbo FWD Mopar guys use'em (if you think DSM people are cheap, they are even cheaper).
Umm, check out Gus/Tom Mahon's web site (13 second turbo fwd minivan and 12 second 4 door fwd turbo Acclaim) or Gary Donavon's Relentless web site (11 second FWD turbo Mopar).
If you just want 12s, 13s and you don't wanna shell a grand for a custom FMIC, there's no harm in getting a $50 junkyard IC (IE a Thunderbird/RX7 whatever) and plumbing it in after your stock IC. Try it and see if ya like it.

is there a full moon out or something? Thomas, please respect the bandwidth. You know we like to keep the information in these threads as relevant to the topic as possible. A little humour here or there is one thing.. but there is an extent in both taste and content... It's not necessary to quote absolutely everything, everytime you want to comment. You know there is nothing constructively said in your reply here. Is there some reason why you can't post your greeting in another relevant thread.. or how about email something like that privately to Allan? Is your email broken? It is our desire to keep all forums open and un-moderated. However, if this sort of behaviour continues, even if it's from just a few members we will be forced to moderate certain forums for content. Those few delinquent members would essentially spoil the freedom (and speed of posts and replies) for everyone else.... .. now do we want that? I'd rather it didn't have to be done, we have a good thing going on this UBB, lets not spoil it. thanx for understanding ------------------ 93 Talon Tsi AWDsealed for freshness www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Street/1125/ [This message has been edited by Craig Watson (edited February 15, 2001).]

Thank God I stay the Hell away from those boards... (:
Most of those sites have some sort of sponsorship. I don't think we do, and it's nice to keep the bandwidth clean. Besides, those of us that are a bit more mature, and usually experienced, just pack up and leave when a bunch of silly teens come waltzing around and talking 'sh!t' all over the place. That's what's kept the Talon Digest more or less respectable over the years, Todd filters out all the trash.
