Last Saturday, I went into Master Performance to get a quote for my car. I was quoted 350 to 400 dollars. That seemed reasonable. Especially since I was providing most of the hardware. The downpipe, the muffler, the tips, a mandrel bend. All I really needed was a cat, some hangers and some gaskets. So I arrive this morning and BANG! They hit me for 860! Twice the amount. One of the items on that list was some aluminized pipe. 300 for some pipe!!! Ok. Let me put this more into perspective. A good friend of mine named Tom got his Turbo back system done at this place. He got every thing for 1000 dollars. That's all the items listed above. And they still want 4/5 the amount of that even though I provided most of the parts. I walked out of there needless to say. I'll find another place to get this done, or I'll do it myself.

Oh.. and is there such a thing as a 2.5 inch to 2 inch reducer?

Try that Budget Exhaust place where Phil got his done. He had a complete 3" turbo back built for $1000.

I just called speedy for a price on that same piping. 40$!!!!

Me and my buddies have used Selmons Custom Exhaust in Scarborough for about 5 years. He done custom exhausts for our Honda's, Talon's etc. The good thing about him is he provides warranty, ie. my brother cat was hitting speed bumps after he put in a different cat. Regardles of that Selmon took the car back up and fixed it for free. Plus he is trustworthy because he has two race cars himself (that whole pride in the work he does thing). Might be worth the call.

Try A-Spec, I got 3" 304SS Turbo back with a Multi chamber muffler and a high flow cat for $1200.

Never had any problems.. ask for Steve.... it's by the airport
