Well guy's i hate to draw this on but i just want other people to understand why i think that this guy is as unprofesional as it gets in our sport!!!. I was in the carbon fibre hood group buy over a year now, and you all know how much trouble i had on getting my hood, well to make thing short and to the point keith told me on the phone about 2 months ago that he would send my money back cause somehow my hood cracked in his car on the way home...hahaha ,so i gave him my address for the 1000 time and told him id be waiting.As you can all guess...no money.

I would just like people to know i trusted this guy with $600 of my hard earned money that i paid for making at a gas station at($6.85 an hour) cause everybody said this guy was as profesional and trustworthy as it gets in our sport.

All i have left to say is becareful with your money cause i never thought a moderator from our own board would take me for a ride.

Well dave i havent spoken with him for about 2 months now, just because i seem to get know where with this guy he tells me all the time that he is going to send my money next day or get me a hood...Im telling you he's a scam artist that's it.

Please remember that there are always two sides to every story. The administrators are looking into the matter. In the interim, Keith's moderator status has been temporarily suspended. I don't think Keith spends much (if any) time on this board anymore. That may explain why he hasn't responded.

The issues with the hood's is an unfortunate situation, but as stated above their are two sides to every issue, post's are made in this forum for the information of people involved in future dealing's, kinda like a reference, let's not clutter this stuff up with comment's by people not directly involved.

There are always 2 sides to a story yes. There is no other side's story if the other side is hiding and not getting back to people. Also in this case i think the other side's story holds no water at all.

Myself and Justin Howe were the last 2 people to recieve are hoods,Justin got the one off keiths car and i never got one, so all i asked for was my money back i hope keith can come on here a defend himself honestly...

How was the Admin team dragged into this. They are'nt at fault Keith is at Fault. The only thing I can see that was mentioned about the admin was that Keith should be stripped of his Admin status. Its starting to look like you guys are taking sides with him.

I had thought that after Keith's last email to me, indicating he would try and make some cash, and get the money back to Ryan, would be enough.

But, it's never happened.
Just FYI...

I tried to re-open dialogue with Keith about it over the last few days, and he simply seems to prefer to refuse to talk about it any more.

For what it's worth, we've banned him.

Watch out, if you have any dealings with him.
He seems to feel zero remorse for taking someone's hard earned money, and delivering 0% of what he promised to deliver.

This club is suppossed to be about supporting the collective good of people... and in turn, being supported by them.

We try and look out for a member, who's been ripped off, by a moderator no less. We try and re-open the dialogue, and bring some equality...
...and after a complete admission and a willingness to repay Ryan, he flip-flops into absolute refusal to admit any guilt.

A $600 debt you owe, seems like an awful small thing to ignore, when you're putting your face and image on the cover of a magazine...

Ok before u say anything u should get your facts straight I didnt pay a penny for those rims and tires. As well the SUV was bought when i sold my talon.

Law and court both agree with me. IF buyer pays and i send money to manuf and they dont deliver then we have a prob. I have checked it out already because they owe me alot more then 1 hood or money for 1 hood.

i dont mean to be a dick and really i am a good guy and have been in this business for over 9 years now and never had a problem at all.

but this is starting to irratate me when other people that dont even know are gettin involved.

So, again, what... he admits that he's responsible, but feels that since "law and court" might technically side in his favour, that he can just ignore the whole thing?

Don't know if it's even true, but I'll ask his lawyer when he phones me.

If he'd PAID the manufacturer Ryan's money, and could prove that was the case, then I can see how there MIGHT then be a legal question.

But, as far as we can see, Keith just kept the money, and/or, his bookkeeping was so messy or lacking, that he lost track of what was whose.

Really sad...

For what it is worth, my lawyer once told me that in this country you can say anything you want, as long as it is the truth! Surely some of the guys involved, especially the ones who got screwed, would have some emails or something where Keith admitted he owed the money!

I see he has also changed his company name? It used to be "Kee-Lo"....looks like he is showing just how "low" he can be!!

Anyways, hope those guys involved will step up and get Andrew the stuff he needs to defend himself against this ridiculous charge!!

Considering Keith's lawyer doesn't even understand the difference between 'slander' (which involves the spoken word) and 'defamation' or 'libel' then I'd say you don't have much to worry about.

Im just going to quickly sum up what has transpired out off this

- Sent Keith losier $600 for my carbon fibre hood
- Told me he recieved it and will be shipped right away.
- Spoke with keith on how my hood was comming and he assured me that it was comming soon.
- it has been 3 years now no hood and no money back.
- Keith has stated to me and my buddy's that i will not be getting my money back.

Keith has told Andrew B also that i am not getting my money back,and wants to bring a lawyer into this as it is slander..

If someone can get a hold of jeremy chin he was also in this and lost money from keith.

What Jeff said, slander and libel are two different concepts which his laywer apparently doesn't understand. As well, I believe both defintions involve a 'false statement' about his character/business. From what I have read, it seems people have simply posted facts about the situation.

I have used 2 lawyers who are specialist in civil litigation (from my accident).
I would recommend both.

From what I know of this situation, he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
Cost of lawyers for both parties would probably exceed total claim value...

For the "slander/defamation" he is talking out his ass. He has no idea as to the definition of "defamation of character". This only applies IF it is un-true facts being published.

BTW Anyone who "threaten's retaining lawyers" is full of it. IF he has the money or is serious, you wouldn't get a "warning"...

I read this post from top to bottom, and I know it wasn't my issue, but all I have to say is props to Andrew for standing up to this, especially when the thought of a law suit came up. What a guy. Someone should buy him a beer or ten.

Given all the crap I put up with from Keith, and how quickly Mark at CF Tech "made this right" for Ryan (once he heard), I think we've painted a very clear picture of the culprit in all of this.

In the process of discussion and investigation, I learned more about this "group buy", than has ever been posted on here.

Beware in all dealings with Keith.
And you may wish to warn others to do the same.

Keith's "terms" for "allowing us to post here without suing us" were that we simply close this thread, so that he can save face.
