Back about a month ago Mike had a 14b for sale that I was interested in. I told him I would only pay with paypal so we have third party protection. He didn't want to bother with that so he told me he would send the turbo, and I agreed I would send him a cheque when I received it. 2 weeks went buy and I hadn't received it yet, I emailed him and he said it should be there soon even though Canada post didn't have a record of it. Finally I get another email a few days later and he said he wrote the address wrong and it was returned to him. So I told him my address again and told him I would pay for a tracking number, he said, "will do" that was a week ago and I haven’t heard anything since, he won't return my emails.

I'm really frustrated because I can hardly drive my car; I wasted a month of summer driving.

I still need a turbo!

BTW, I have all the PM's to back this up, not sure how I can link them.


I just don't understand some people; does it make him feel good that he wasted a lot of my time and the fact that my car is almost un-drivable?

Sorry to keep ranting, I'm just really upset.

I dont see how you can call him a bad guy if you never sent him money, if anything hes a good-guy, unless you did sned money and hes dicking you around.

Well If you don't see anything wrong with that; I guess that speaks for it's self. I think you need to read it more carefully. I'd be very shocked if you wern't a little pissed in my situation. I just can't believe the lack of respect.

I agree with you Chandler, it shouldn't be that way. Unfortunately in this club it often is, I couldn't even count the number of people that have jerked me around that way and wasted a tonne of my time. It is so unneccessary and so frustrating.

Fortunately there are also a lot of really good and considerate people on here to balance things out a little.

If hes being honest to you in that he sent it out, and put the wrong address on it, and it took weeks to get back to him, **** happens, if thats just a BS excuse, than yes hes in the wrong.

it doesn't leak anything, it is in great shape. I had no problems with it, but i wanted more power. I haven't taken pictures of it(i don't have a digital camera), but it is just a stock 14b, with o2 housing.

I kinda need it asap, because my turbo is leaking oil. It's very easy to get a paypal acount and it's free. You just need to confirm your bank it takes like 3 days. I only got mine like 4 months ago and I've used it a few times now, you might as well, because it's really the only way to make internet transactions, and both paties are protected. It's the only way i'll purchase because ive been ripped off before.

No problem mistakes happen, please send it soon as you get a chance, because I can't drive my car till I get it. For an extra dollar you can get a traking number, I'll pay it, can you send me the traking number so it's easier for me to track.

Chandler im sorry but you are very confused. Regular mail does not have a tracking number and canadapost will not have ANY record of it. Only if you purchase insurance or send with xpresspost. And it can take 8days to get where you are.

Mike seemed like he did make a mistake with the adress the first time and it isnt like you lost any money. He even agreed to SEND it without pre payment, on the internet that is a BIG risk to take. 20 for shipping is an awesome deal, try xpresspost for a 20lb item and it would have been easy $40. Stop the crying, i doubt mike meant wrong.

Ok smart guy tell me how that is relevant? The fact is I wasted 1 month, and I still don't have a turbo. If I knew I would have wasted that kind of time I would have bought a 16g. I would be more than willing to pay $40 shipping, and still would if Mike got his act together (well maybe not now).

I have a question for you now, why would you waste the time to post here? If anything this is going to hurt any credibility you even had. I don't understand people like you. If being unreliable, not showing enough respect to at least tell me he isn't sending me the turbo is not in the wrong I don't know what is. I think that's a little on the unethical side, but I guess I'm wrong in the eyes of a bright person such as yourself.

I did have trouble sending out the turbo the first time, as I had someone else send it due to my busy schedule. I personally sent it out yesterday expresspost with tracking number. Chandler has this number.

It is now 1:11am sunday and I am reading these post for the first time.

I think this thread was a little hasty in being posted, but i understand the frustration. Please remember that I did send it without payment first, and at my own expense.

You’re right I did get a bit carried away. Nothing personal. I just thought you were avoiding me, because the private messages do have reading notification, so I knew you read them, but yet it was a while before I got a reply. I’ve been dicked around a number of times and I thought it was another negative experience.
This is why I like doing paypal, I know you sent the turbo prior to payment, which I appreciate. But I'm sure If you actually had my money you would have made sure it was sent right the first time. Well...I think if i needed the money and was really trying to sell it, it would have been done properly the first time. I just had alot of things on my plate, so I had someone else do it for me. I do take the blame for that.

I think you will be more than happy with the turbo though.

Ya Mike is not a bad guy at all I bought tons of parts off him with no problems. He was even nice enough to help me change my head for free not that I need it, but ya Mike's a good guy and I'm sure you will get your turbo. I saw it to its in good shape.
