HKS, GReddy or Apexi?

Which is the best and why? What features do one have that the others dont? Thanks for the help!

no no no... Don't do it... You want a mechanical boost gauge... Honest. The whole reason you are getting a boost gauge is that the stock one is electronic, and is a guess at best.. You want something accurate, spend just a little more, and get a mechanical one.

I have only used the Autometer Sport Comp, but I can say it was a reasonable price, fairly easy install (20 minutes) and works really well. I had to buy a couple fittings at Home Depot, and I used some T-tape to seal everything, but it works well, doesn't leak, and the back lighting is ok if you don't use the bulb caps.

Hope this helps,

If you're talking about the ones with peak-hold and warning they're pretty expensive for a boost gauge. I don't think you'd really need those features. Save your money and get those features on your EGT gauge where they'd actually come in handy.

You talkin about a Electronic Boost controller? or electric boost gauge?

I'm confused cause the title said "What electronic boost gauge to buy?"

Just wanna clarify things so we could help u out a bit better [Linked Image]

If it's about an Electric Boost controller, of course it'll be better, that's what u pay for. I have herd alotta good things about the Profec B.

Anyone use the Profec B? What do u think of it?

Rob, if you have some technical knowledge, you can easily build your own electronic boost controller for about $50 ($35 of that is for a boost controller from vlad bustamante).

Poor Man's GReddy PRofec

I had this on my old talon and it worked exactly the way it said, low setting was 10psi and high setting was whatever I wanted it to be.

You're missing the point, Dan. These people that want an electronic controller in the first place like the toys, and have the money to burn. (:

They are a superior unit, and they do have awesome features and control of boost, but are they worth $400+? I think not. (:

The Apex'i units are nice as well.
