People are asking me and I have no idea. I thought the cams would have helped but I guees the fact that my rev limit is the same, I wouldn't gain much hp

Yeah it's a work in process. I have quite a bit of parts to put on but i'm thinking of waitin till the spring before i put the fmic on. I did n't want all the salt ruining it. I would also like to see how much I can squeeze out of the 14b.

Do you think I can match my friends '96 vette convertible (auto)? it's supposed to be around 325HP AND 380TQ. ?

With just a 14b on there, you'll get slaughtered.
Not to say it can't be done on a 14b, but for the work involved you might as well go with a bigger spool.

Well, I dyno'ed my Laser right after I did all the free mods, with a leak in the stock exhaust, non punched out cat. At 18psi I got 225 at the wheels with 260ftlbs. I had lots of knock, hence blowing up the motor later. I'd guess youd be around there.

My car is 2wd, thus the excessive wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gear. Ha Ha I find it really funny how the wheels slip between the left and right tires depending on how the steering wheel is turned slightly to keep it straight. I need to get the Phamtom Grip.

225hp well that gives me some hope. I should be around there. Did you upgrade the wiring for the fuel pump?

FWD, with those mods, provided that your car is setup well and tuned, I'd say you would be making more than 200 to the tire. (emphasis on TIRE) lol.

***edit....I just read, stock exhaust.....you're making less than 200....WTF are you doing with 264 cams and a STOCK exhaust???

Oh....and what are you using to control your fuel with those cams?

I needed to do the timeing belt so while I was in there I took out the balance shafts, put in some cams, underdrive pulley, belt, tensioner and water pump. I figured that I might as well do it at the same time.

I was going to do the 3" exhaust when I drop the manifold and turbo in. But if I do that then I need to do the FMIC. I don't have a lot of time either so I need to do it in steps. The next mod should be the fuel pump and rewire.

AND FIX THE DAMN POWER STEERING LINE!!!!

I bet just about everyone has had to replace this by now.

YOu need to get an exhasut, some injectors and some fuel control. Then you're talking. Screw the turbo and manifold for now. Just spend your money on porting your curent 14B and MAnifold.
