So I finally got the Talon out of the garage, and decided to get some fresh gas from Sunoco. As I was approaching the gas station I saw the sign showing 61.8 cents! I thought I was dreaming, but then when I got closer, I saw huge line ups and cops everywhere… I think the picture tells the whole story. This should be on the 6 o clock news today.

Pretty obviously an April Fool's joke. Why would the police be in riot gear? Notice how they're dragging a guy away near the pumps. Also, notice the guys sitting on the pavement with their hands twist-tied behind their backs. Why would that be? Also, the guy talking to the cop with the gas mask. I'll bet that cop's easy to understand while talking through that thing, eh?

Police are in riot gear because it was a riot to get gas. People have their hands tied behind their backs because they needed to be detained. The gask mask is easy. He's wearing a gas mask because he's at a gas station. tongue

A riot to get gas, eh? Why not just close down the friggin' gas station? They can't close down a private business, you say. To stop a riot in progress, they can't shut down a business? Guess again.

Of course it's a joke. I hope no one believed it was true.

I didn't even notice the police in the middle of the picture dragging that person with the red coat.

Oh the carnage cheap gas brings!
