i finally got rid of that ignition system (jacob's) and picked up a vintage atari 2600

Ahh the classics. Simple and fun unlike most of todays crap. I still have a colecovision with the old Adam computer in my parents cellar.

Check out the going rates for an Atari 2600 on eBay. They can sometimes go past $100 USD, if they have the right amount of stuff. You definitely have a high valued unit. Now, is that the wood version? The original and much sought after 2600's had an original wood finish that went to plastic.

Depends if it has the High Definition A/V pack and what size the hard drive is..

That's phenomenal... i remember playing Atari when i was 5 years old, then and we got a Nintendo. Dad sold the atari, i was heartbroken. (So now i play atari games on my PC). Sweet system Chris!

That's awesome I'd love to have that! I still have my NES with about 40games and put it to good use once in a while! Unfortunately this kind of stuff doesn't sell for much. No one in their right mind would pay over $100 for it! I've seen collections of like 70+ games only sell for about $50 and systems with controllers for like $10 on EBAY. Its rare in our eyes, but more common than we think.

i think i'll hang on to it for a few more...decades

it's bound to attract the right buyer, until then i'll just soak in the nostalga (sp?)

or trip out playing E.T.
