Forza2 is out for the 360 . I already have my black 1998 Eagle over 500hp and kicking but around the tracks.

I got it last night at Future shop for $59.

There is no 1g. There is only the 98 Tsi, and the 95 GSX, and a ton of Evos... It will not be release for the XBox, only the 360. I have waited 6 months for this game and played the hell out of it last night. I went a different route than mike though, I bought an Audi TT because I thought that the high end cars from Europe were more desirable then those in North America... Maybe I'll just go back and buy the Tsi now.

I would love to join you guys on line, but Microsoft banned my machine two weeks ago. I'm waiting on an Elite this weekend so I can get back on line and try Forza.

I'm curious why your machine was banned. Forza is real good from what I played last night on my buddies big screen. Not sure how I'll be able to play it on my 27 inch compared to his 56 inch.

My machine is modded Ian. Microsoft started to bann machines on May 17th when the Halo 3 Beta was released.

Freaky thing is, if you remember you were able to dowload the Halo 3 beta through Crackdown, which is why Microsoft called it just that. People that bought that game illegally like myself got screwed as it gave Microsoft an indication of which 360's were modded by playing this stupid game.

Oh well, now I'll have two. One modded one not.

All that you ned now is another two TV's an another XBOX360 and you could have a three screen setup. You can use modded boxes as the slave machines as long as your profile loads on the Good machine...

Seems you need to have a lot of different cars to play all the levels. It's not like you can get the Talon and take it as far as you want. Different races are limited to different cars. Too bad, because no one can keep up to my 531hp 98 Talon

Played it online last night. I was really impressed. There were no aparant lag issues. You can talk to everyone in the race with the headset. You can also race your own modified vehicles. My Talon was kicking some Lamborghini and Porsche butt on the long and short tracks .

My copy looks totally amazing on my shelf, along with my wireless wheel, and newly acquired 360.

At&t decided to arbitrarly disconnect my DSL service, so I cannot connect to Xbox live to get the updates I need.

Then when I went to go play Forza, it said I needed an update to play the game, and since I can't connect, I can't play the damn game......nice. At least with a PSP you get updates included WITH the game.........oh no! not Xbox! you HAVE to have internet connection......lame.


I have my gamer tag set as TURBO4G63, so as soon as I get reconnected I will try to look you guys up.
(I don't know if that name will be available for me to use, since I haven't been able to connect since hooking up the 360)

Thats just stupid, even Wii has updates on the games.

That is stupid. I've never had that happen before. All the other games work just fine without upgrades if you are not connected. When there is a detected upgrade you have to upgrade it to play it if you are connected though.

That doesn't sound right man. Xbox can't assume all 360 players are on Live.

BTW if anyone here is trying to play with me make sure to send a friend invite to me as I do not accept game invites by gamer tags I don't know.

That's odd and kind of lame Dan. I did notice the minute I put the game in it ran an update. I just shook my head and laughed at another Microsoft patch that I've become so used to.

My gamer tag is VapedTalon. I as much of my time painting my cars as I do racing them lol.

I have my Eclipse that I spent a whole 15 minutes on. The car is a bloody beast with 695 hp.


I also have my time attack C class Lotus Elise 135R.



I want to build my Talon's paintjob around this image. I'm sving it for tommarow because it will probably take me an hour or two just to make the logo.

What? The Eclipse can get almost 200hp more than the Talon? That's a bunch of crap Maybe I'll have to ditch my maxed Talon for an Eclipse. Are there any other differences like handling when both are maxed?

Btw, the Porsche 914 is an insane beast when maxed out. I kept avoiding it because it only had 125hp to start with until I had to use it for some races. Being able to swap an engine in for an instant 300hp and then putting on other upgrades to get to 700hp on 2000lb makes it quite a different car It's very hard to drive.

Yeah the Eclipse has the "4g63T Drivetrain" swap available lol. I'm not sure what is with turn 10 but they should have labeled it the Evo 4G63T. Besides that point why does the Evo platform offer a higer max hp . I mean the blocks are basicly the same and if you are replacing everything on the motor shouldn't they be basicly the same?

I've moved on from the Talon. I'm loving my 960hp skyline atm. It's great fun.

I hit over 220mph on the Nissan Speedway last night.

I will keep my Talon out of principle alone.

I love how I was able to shoe horn 20" rims onto it last night.

So far, I am very impressed with this game.
The soundtrack more than makes up for the total gayness that was the GT series soundtrack.

the wireless Xbox wheel is awesome.

Maybe I haven't been using the newer stuff, but I always found I did worse with a wheel and pedals. I want to use the wheel like 'normal', but the software still isn't up to the task, nor does it quite give you the feedback you need. Feels like driving our old '78 Buick land yacht with 'no feel' power steering.
