Drift Free Weekends fires up again this Saturday June 23 3:00pm-close. Tech-in from 3-5pm them enjoy a full day for free.

Once again at the Kawartha Speedway Casino, located just past Mosport to run a FREE Drifting practice and an Autocross grip course all for $0. Parking is also free but why would you want to park it, when all you have to do is pass tech and bring a helmet to get on track!

- Sharpen your drifting skills
- Grip or Slip on the AutoX course
- Practice the basics on the figure-8 / donut setup
- Show of your ride on the infield to the crowds
- Test and tune with plenty of room in the pits
- Learn from the Pros 1-on-1
- Chill out, hit the Casino or just relax in the licensed bar
- Watch the mayhem from the enclosed grandstands or restaurant

Off the momentum of the May 25 event that saw 28 cars and 85 spectators, we are expecting to double that number. Since the owner of the track knows money is tight, he offered the whole track to: drive, hang or just enjoy the rest of what this first class facility has to offer.

Well as soon as you mention "free" you don't really need any notice. We have confirmed some guys making a long haul...Ottawa, Keswick and St. Kitts :-)

I'll back Raph up. It was a great time watching last time. I had never really seen drifting before but I was loving every minute of it. Didn't think I would be able to make it out this week but it now looks like I will be out after work. Adam and Randy, hopefully you guys will be able to make it out again. Nice cars, good location, and best of all it supports taking racing to the track. Definately an event worth supporting.

Sorry, my Saturdays are all booked at Mosport. Maybe next time.

I heard there was something planned at Kennedy Commons in the East end and then convoy from there.

Son 240sx had lots of info posted but the site just got hacked for the 3rd time and is down!!!

tech-in is from 3-5 and event runs to 11 and around 50+ cars are expected.
