Ive raced a few 5 series bmw's before, and have had no problems beating them.
Today was a different story though.
I was coming up to this black nice looking bmw on the highway and he saw me and gunned it, I followed. I thought I would start pulling on him but we stayed the same distance apart up to 165 kph when we both had to take the exit ramp. Now we were coming up to a red light.
I thought I would let him go first off the line and then do a light launch, and take him. I should of done a hard launch.

He took off and I launched it, caught up about 3 qaurters of a car length behind him, and again couldn't pull on him, up to 85kph. Then there was traffic so fun was over.

The license plate said 1995Spr on it and it had 540i in the right corner and Dinan 5 across the left side rear. It definately had a performance exhaust system, and was in amazing condition.

Next time I see him I will know to do a proper launch, and after my front mount gets here, and injen piping, and 2g maf, I hope to run into him again!!

Anyone have specs on these cars or ever run into one?

Did some research on these things. They are supercharged, with stock horse power of 282. He definately had mods too.

I took out a 2006 mustang gt last year. This thing was faster.
