Since the timing system wasn't working at the Peckerhead shootout, I STILL don't know what the car runs.

I'm heading out to Cayuga Friday night, Oct. 19th.

Anyone else wanna come along?

Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

$20 to run, $10 to spectate.

It's just a T&T night, not an event.

I think I'll come out to this.
I was going to go tonight, but plans changed.

I think me & Mark are going to try & squeeze in one more day before the seasons over as well. Was just wondering, why not go on Sat the 20th? Its T&T all day, so shouldn't be super busy & last T&T we went to on a Sat had very good track prep. Just thinking could get more runs in this way.

Possibly thinking of colder intake temps! Not sure, but I'll be in if everyone else is.

lol

Ok, screw you guys. This is NOT a thread for people going to Cayuga on the 20th.

It's ALSO not a thread about people going to OTHER tracks on the 19th.

THIS thread is for people coming to CAYUGA on the 19TH.

Now, who's coming to THAT? The rest of you.. get your own damned thread!

Any chance you want to try Saturday?
Looks like it's just cloudy that day.

Since this is my thread, and I can do what I want in it:

HA! 10s a little harder than they sound, boys? wink.

Looks like some of you young punks are starting to learn what us old guys have been learning for years... It's easy to get a car that SHOULD do a nice set of numbers. Getting that car to DO those numbers isn't so easy.

Hopefully, however, you'll get things together before the end of the day and reach your goals.

Remember: ANY day you drive the car home from the track, is a good day at the track.

I ran my car for the first time.
11psi I managed a best of 15.4.....

I blew an intercooler pipe off when we were pulling out of the track.

So im blaming those horrible numbers on my intercooler piping barely hanging on..

Now I have to wait untill next summer to find out what my car aucually runs.

Other than that it was fun.

Nice 11.4 Kevin! Gotta change the sig once again.

Helber shaved 3sec off in one t&t event, Nice 12.9 buddy!
I cant wait to see that thing next summer.

Aaron

Lol, I ran 5 times and all of them were 11.7xx second runs. Pretty damn consistent, but no personal best. I think its time for a bigger turbo, the evo3 16g has seen its days.

Reza, were you the one in the white 1G with white rims? I saw you putting air in the tires at the Sonoco on the way home.

11.7XX is grate for a 16g! better than my 14.1 @ 102.96 with a 60' of 2.422. Best 60' for my FWD was a 2.353 and fastest MPH was 106.39 running that '08 BMW 335i coupe. My car has a high 13 sec pass in it (on street tires), but I don't think I'll be the one to do it lol

Reza, I say put on a intake manifold and build a higher compression motor, with some porting. Id like to see it run low 11`s.. Don`t give up on that 16g!

I would say go big and get yourself a nice FP3065 setup. I can see 10's with that for sure. With your setup that turbo will pull like anything at 30 psi or more! maybe a dsmlink might help as well!

No more timing curves like he has right now with a 3065.

Thats true.....but the top end on that thing, especially at anything higher then 25 psi will be pull him through his seat.

Well I had alot of fun but wasn't able to reach my goal of 13.5 on street tires. Most of the runs netted 13.6-13.8 & traps ranges from 111 to 113 mph. 60's were obviously horrible with 2.4-2.6's. That was my last attempt with heavy 18's & street tires, tired of running mid-high 13's with a car that should run mid-low 12's all day long (all on pump of course). 16's & Hoosier drag radials will be run next summer, for some more respectable times.
