Who here has CB radios in their car?
Where have you got it mounted?
What brand/model radio do you have?
What antenna do you have?
I think CB radios are great because often truck drivers speak of police locations when they are setup on the highways for radar, and its not illegal like a radar detector.
There are some nice cobra ultra compact cb's I am thinking about getting one, found them as cheap as $45, plus an antenna thinking about getting a K30 antenna.

Its saved my bacon more than once! I have a Uniden and a Lil Wilson Ant. Most truck stops have a cb section in them.

I use a cb when I go on road trips, and it has saved my butt a few times aswell. The turckers can also help on traffic conditions ahead too. i have a midland cb not sure of the model but its pretty small and a little wil antenna
