I think they're scared Kevin. Afraid that a grassroots guy like yourself and Reza will smoke a purpose built shop car.

lol, I remember the shoot out that was canceled. Meeting Kevin for the first time. Sure didn't come off like a trouble maker. I guess he was to busy helping todd to start sh!t. Man well if this guy is right im sorry I miss Kevins true colours =] I remember that too Jay... sitting in the back of your Talon the whole way down... I froze, couldn't feel my ass OR legs, and had a headache from hitting the glass. Also came back with a nasty bruise on my back from KEVIN ramming into me on the go-kart track... So, I guess he does something to one's back...

Worst mistake was letting Steve take pictures. I have pictures of women driving suv's random graves.... and people standing on the side of the road. Atleast he got some pictures of talons and other cars that were there. The go-carts were awesome cause you could get them sideways. I still can't believe I came second in our race. I just remember getting passed. But I never had to go back in the pits =] lol, Wow kevin That was soo mean jabbing him. It was you who put the damn ice cream music on the one cart wasnt it! lol =]

SODSM hating ways? I don't get it??? From what I can read there is only 1 member from sodsm who posted in that thread and he had nothing bad to say about the org. The original poster is not a member? How you relate this to sodsm taking shots at the org is beyond me. Seems to me its personal kevin.

Heres my favourite part from the original link "Listen DSM people, this guy is nothing but bad news. He talks so much sh!t, lies and stabs people in the back. I've been around dsm canada people that all say the same thing. You're just a sad boy that lives behind message boards trying to constantly make people believe that you're something different by feeding them all your crap. Go hate somewhere else and stop giving DSMs a bad name." fracking haters. They still owe me one. 2000 dollars for a head gasket job, just because i had no time to do it my self. That has to be the worst shop ever, they robed me. It should not even be call a shop theres not even a car hoist. If i would of see the shop before sending my car, spike would of never made it there. It was lots of fun when i got to marco to get it tune, beacuse spike didnt even idle when forcepower gave it back to me. -Manuel

Again whats with hating on Forcepower when they aren't remotely even related to this topic? Manuel, sorry bro but I love how you twist the situation around. Not my place to get involved but, Why dont you tell everyone why it barley idled when you picked it up? For another what $300 you could of walked away happy, but no you have to be a cheap bastard and take it as it was when YOU asked FP to stop the work. mmmmm but still had some dough for those coilovers you grabbed shortly after, pretty nice non the less. Also since when were you god and decided that to be called a shop you need a hoist? Gime a break

Gime a break Thats right nick it was not your place, but welcome, cheap bastard, eh? o.k if you say so. just because i did not feel like being robed anymore, since when you do a head gasket job and you give the fracking car back not even idleling, What da frack are you talking about anyways another 300 hundred they where charging me close two grand for a fracking headjob cant you read? Why dont you stop licking their balls and mind your own bussiness if you dont even know the brake down, Is not about the fracking car not idleling (even when i sent the car with the flat bet the car idled and run), because i put it togeter my self. Its about being rip off in your face and he knows you know you are being rip off. You where right,Was not your place to jump in, See i am not hating i am piss that a dsm "shop" bend me over, Why? because i never use shops, and the fracking day i need one .... And god and i decide that if a shop doesnt even have the equipmet to the job right ..well i should not be call a shop, but manuels drive way. Well here we are are again, more BS towards ForcePower. I told myself I was not going to have anything more to do with this forum, but after numerous customers calling me, they persuaded me to respond.
Manuel, Manuel, Manuel. Below is the list of work you requested we do on your car. (little more than just a headgasket job). Replace headgasket (Mitsu MLS). Head and block surface inspection after you over torqued it. Replace water pump. Replaced ARP head studs. Flush rad and cooling system of trace alluminum. Rewire cooling fans. Replaced TB gaskets. Replaced TPS. Install new cam gears. Replaced Thermostat. Remount throttle cable, you had it resting on drive shaft. Install and hook-up your gauges and boost controller. Oil change. * On top of this I had to wait 3 hrs after work to receive your car. I got a car that was not running, that had to be checked aqd inspected before we started work on it. I had to put gas in it because it was empty, so I could road test it. Most of the above was quoted to you via e-mail before we started and any problems we found along the way were passed onto you ahead of time. No, the car was not properlly tuned on completion, because you said you could not afford anymore work. I am sure you don't work for free, so don't expect me to. If it's any of your business we got rid of our hoist a couple of years ago to free-up some space for more cars, I can't remember ever using a hoist to do a headgasket though. Sometimes I wish we still had our hoist, but it's quite easy to work without it. Perhaps you should do your own work, you come down to us with your car and you seem quite happy to have it here, then openlly bad-mouth Marco infront of us. Then you get the car back and bad-mouth us and praise Marco. I will be speaking to Marco next week on other business, I'll let him know what to expect from you.
To finish this off guy's, I quote 99% of all the work I do ahead of time, no one is twisting your arms to come here. When you get your quote that is the time to complain or leave.
To all our good customers on this forum (which there are lots), you know how to get hold of me, phone or email as I don't check this forum anymore.
To the rest of you, I wish you well as I don't and will not participate in internet bashing and only comment on first hand knowledge.

I moved this to Good-Guy / Bad-Guy since that seemed to be a more appropriate place given the last several posts r.e. Manuel and Mark's dispute. As per the rules of this section of the board: 4. Hijacking of threads will not be tolerated. If you don't have factual evidence, or related knowledge to contribute, don't post. If you'd like to offer up your own experiences, we'd ask that you start your own thread(s). anyone who is not directly involved should stop posting in this thread.

hahaha, I don't think I've ever read so much BS before. At first you know, they were talking bad about ca.dsm.org, which I can see if someone has had a bad experience here by acting like a fool and getting booted and being bitter.
But then saying Kevin is a back stabber, etc etc etc made me make this face of disgust and wonder, I wish I had a camera to take a picture of it because I'd like to post it to show you exactly how I felt haha.
Kevin has been nothing but a great guy to me and other people on this board. I'd rather have Kevin help me fix my DSM than anyone else that I've met so far. I understand it's winter, so maybe his head is up his ass for the warmth

Now a voice from the not so politicly correct side of ForcePower and the guy that runs Team S.O.DSM. WOW!!!!! You guys are something else. This all starts by Kevin having a run-in with some random guy on another car forum and it turns into this. You know, im sensing a pattern here. It's the exact same group of people on here that always take shots at either S.O.DSM or ForcePower. NOW WHO'S THE HATERS!!!! Im pretty sure Mark sorted out the Manuel thing so I don't need to go into that. Helder: I see your under-handed comment about us in the "roll bar" thread. What's your problem?? Never met you before, so what could your problem possibly be? Let me guess, you're just jumping on the "buddy" band-wagon and taking your shots. Plus I see that you tried to sign up to S.O.DSM the other day. I wonder why. haha Kevin: Why do you insist on bashing S.O.DSM and ForcePower at every corner? Again I will say, I'VE NEVER EVEN MET YOU!!! Grow up and drop it. I and we do not want to be associated with your name in the same sentence EVER AGAIN!!!!
To the rest of you that continue to bash and hate on us for no real reason and with never having met us. WHY??????? Honestly, this is ridiculous. The other thing, STAY ON TOPIC!!!! Do you people not read the threads that you're posting in? Do you guys always jump into a thread and ask questions and make assumptions without knowing ANYTHING ABOUT THE SITUATION IN TOPIC?
The S.O.DSM thing...... I run the Team, so what's your problem with that? Some of you have taken it upon yourself to not fit in with us. So what, move on. It's a private board of true enthusiasts. We work hard on that board to avoid the exact thing that's going on RIGHT HERE. Oh and by the way dsm canada, when drama and bullshit start on this board regarding S.O.DSM, stop all rushing to join up on the S.O.DSM board. It's drop dead obvious that you're all rushing over there to try to dig up dirt. It is really funny when it happens though. hahaha. If we had it our way, we wouldn't have all this fighting back and forth. I'd rather be trying to plan a huge meet or race day involving DSM Canada and Team S.O.DSM.
I know this reasoning will fall on deaf ears and is probably just a big waste of my breath. You'll all just take it completely apart and out of context and kick it around between the same old group of people on here.

Well Pat, if you are so "why can't we all just get along" then by being the one who... ...the guy that runs Team S.O.DSM.
then you should have put an abrupt stop to "The ORG" thread on the forum, and not allowed the bashing of Canada's biggest and oldest DSM board. You're right, we are all on the same team essentially, and we all drive the same cars. Saying that S.O.DSMers are... It's a private board of true enthusiasts.
is immature in itself. What makes you think you guys are "real enthusiasts" and we aren't? Now, IMO the ORG and SODSM hating has gone on long enough. This highschool drama "he said she said" is fracking bullshit, and WE ALL need to grow up, not just one but EVERYONE, before this turns into a fracking gang war. It's funny that our little war here has made several car forums. Let get known for the right reasons, and not that "we are haterz". How about we work together, and spank some V8's this summer... ALL AS DSM ENTHUSIASTS! Stop the schoolyard bullshit.

Oh the drama Now in all actuallity I have no problem here with dsm canada, in fact I enjoy being a memeber here and find this place quite friendly, knowledgable, and helpfull. Secondly on the topic of force power. For a while I was ready to give them all of my business, they seemed like a very smart, up to date, and well rounded shop. The only thing lacking is the customer service. I can't even count the amount of times that I have been told "We will call you back tomorrow about XXXXX part." Maybe its because I am so far away and not ordering thousands of dollars worth of parts that they always choose to never call back. Even when I call back a few days later I get the same, "Oh we havnt had time to check, we will let you know today or tomorrow for sure." or some other variation. After many many long distance phone calls its just not worth dealing with a shop that does not care about every one of its current and potential customers. Lastly, I see no reasons why both forums can't get along. If you have a disagreement with a vendor, why does that have to seperate two forums? I would love to see a joint meet one day, hell maybe I'd even make the trip down for that one. All in all, thats my 02 cents.

Kevin: Why do you insist on bashing S.O.DSM and ForcePower at every corner? Again I will say, I'VE NEVER EVEN MET YOU!!! Grow up and drop it. I and we do not want to be associated with your name in the same sentence EVER AGAIN!!!!
Read my first post on the other forum: "With any forum that has 1000's of members your going to have a few that are pricks, its unavoidable! Just look at this club for example....hey whats up StealthZ? holla back! The technical info/support on Club DSM Canada greatly outweighs that of SOdsms. WHICH IS TRUE If your looking for actual tech info, help, parts, and such, then Club DSM Canada is a good place to go. WHICH IS TRUE At SOdsm the moderators happen to be shop owners themselves, so naturally theres a 'conflict of interest' and things tend to be biased. WHICH IS TRUE But if your in their area and are looking for other DSMs to get out and go to the track with, their a great bunch to hook up with." Now wheres the malice in that? My only argument with you guys was the fact that you guys are SLOW for what you have, plain and simple! That should speak volumes in itself. Maybe its that Nescafe coffee-can intake manifold holding you back, LOL. Its funny that you ask us why we 'hate' on you guys when you can't even go a page on your site without hearing something about the "ORG". Even tho I'm not a member I still have access to your site thru various other ppl, your going to have to get rid of ALL the org members off your board in order for things not to get back to us. Was this not typed by you "I ran an 11 second run. I swear I did. It was on a quiet saturday night at I forget what track, when I was beating up on Hondas to make myself feel better. My friend ran 11's as well the same night. I swear. We don't have ACTUAL TIMESLIPS but we did. This isn't just a story we made up to tell on message boards. We're soooo fast!!!!" LMFAO, well I posted up the timeslip that your so worried about, not sure why the video wasn't proof enough for you LOL

-sigh- And all this really does, is assure those of us with cash to spend, where not to spend it. I will make only one correction... Canada's biggest and oldest DSM board Actually, technically, we're the world's oldest DSM board.
