I just got my car back from the shop with a rebuild head and a brand new "small" 16g turbo (from Lennel Foo - L&R Racing $900, good guys ). I have minimal mods -- 2.5 exhaust, no air can, k&n filter. I have an a/f gauge and boost gauge but no a-pillar pod so those aren't in yet.

What I was curious about is what I should do/mod/buy to accompany the new 16g and to get the best performance out of it? Are 550's and new fuel pump required? Should I get a boost controller?

Start by putting the boost gauge in. For all you know your boost could be creeping and you're not giving your engine enough fuel.

Anyway, I'd suggest a pump, 550cc injectors, an SAFC for tuning, an EGT gauge to keep an eye on your timing and knock, and a boost controller to set that bad boy up to 20psi.
