Get a carbon hatch And paint roof black, black rims... Dirt.

A carbon hatch is definitely DIRT, but its going to have to wait until next season. In the immediate future, I have a GSX hatch ready to be painted, and Im trying to figure out if I should paint it and the roof red, or leave the roof black, and hatch goes black.

Well, if you were going multi-coloured, then keep the roof (including the top portion of the hatch) black and then the remainder red.

On that note, if you find another one in descent condition , or you find your carbon one, let me know. That rust on mine will only get worse

But On that note, if you feel I should KEEP the coulour scheme of my current hatch, and I should JUST fill the holes and repaint AS IS

Maybe I'll sell you my GSX hatch (I need to keep the third brake light setup though)

How are the holes from the talon spoiler? I'll be painting it anyhow so I can get those holes filled. As long as the window is in good shape and there isn't any rust, I'm sure we can work something out

I vote with Deep. You won't get that WOW factor with a black hatch the over sexy carbon fiber just won't stand out as well as it would against reb.

I wonder if you wrapped the roof if you could get it cleared and really look like rear cf.

To me this wrap looks ok but if the gloss of the reaf cf could be simulated it would be hot.

You can laminate it before you lay it.

Nextmod sells that stuff. My friend used it on the interior of his car. Very easy to work with, and very sticky.
I would pull the drip panels off and even pull the sunroof to install it properly. Last thing you want is it to peel going down the highway :S
And the clear coat/laminate is KEY!

I was expecting the same when I went to pick up the car, but the dealer already put the plates on. Either way doesn't really bother me. I don't think I could justify drilling holes in the white bumper now just to move it to the side
I was actually thinking of getting the 3M vinyl on the front of the car to prevent rock chips etc..

That seems pretty common, I agree its looks nice too. I met a guy at timmies near 401/Kennedy with it done, he also painted the bottom lip black. I'll pass though, the chrome looks fine to me and so does the bottom lip

Right now, I'm all about keeping the car the way it came from the dealer. Just having the car and driving it is a pleasure to me There is also a "GST" tune floating around which claims a bump up of 50WHP and 30ft/lbs of torque, without any other mods, but since this car is my daily driver, I'm not quite worried about the mods right now

Once warranty is up, I'll probably try the GST reflash. Just a quick little grocery getter is all I want

I'd do the plasti-dip on the front trim on mine too, but I like the way the chrome ring ties in the chrome lip on my rims.
