This actually "legal" now?

I think I know what my next play toy is going to be.

That would be a sexy car to have. =] IMO

Its weird. But its hilarious when cops go to give the passenger sh*t for doing something stupid.

Yes, It's actually legal.

EVO 1's can be imported. Body style looks like a Galant or VR4

Evo 3-4 are will be available in future years and the body style is closer to the evo 8 - 9

As for RHD, its fine.
Can't use Drive though's alone, and you have to be a little more patient on Busy left hand turns.

No one even looks over anymore when I drive by.
People are either used to seeing RHD or they don't care.

Worst DSM'er Ever, Haven't had a DSM for 6 years.

My buddy has had his for about 2 months now. They're nice since they only weigh ~2500lbs. Im not sure if I could handle the RHD all the time, but they are a sweet car.

Had it out one day, and busted the trans.

Once the car is 15 years old, it's legally importable as a full car.

So, Evo I and II are legal now.
Evo III will be legal in 2010.
Evo IV in 2011.
Evo V in 2013.
And my Evo VI will be gettable in 2014-2015.

Some people are getting away with bringing in such cars as parts, and then registering them as Kit Cars (has been done with the Ariel Atom). If you import one from Europe (not the UK) you can get one with LHD.
