I've been asked to make someone a copy of the valve spring compressor I made for myself a few years back, and that many of you have used. I thought that if I was going to make one, i migh as well open it up to the rest of the club as well.
The tool bolts on to the cam bearing cap bosses, and will do 4 valves before it needs to be moved. It presses down with a screw and a cup on the valve spring retainers. There is a hole in the cup that allows you to remove or insert the keepers. You can change the valve guide seals without removing the head. Even with the head off the engine, this is still the easiest tool to use for re/re valves.
If i'm making a handful of them, I think I can do it for $65
