Hey guys, Do any of you know whether there are locknuts for the factory '95-'96 TSi AWD wheels? I checked with TireTrends.com and McGuard doesn't have a set, or does McGuard only send them out to the dealerships? I'm gonna call the dealership tomorrow to see, but was wondering if any of you know the real deal... are there ANY locknuts available?!? Thanks! Fred C

Hey, Thanks for the replies! I went to the dealership today and they couldn't find anything in their books, so I went to Lordco and they said that there were 2 sets of McGards available for a '96 Talon: No. 25257, and No. 24157 (if I remember correctly). I already have the No. 25257 'cuz those are the "tuner lock-nuts" for aftermarket wheels (which I use on my 17"/Summer's) and I was gonna check my factory lugnuts to see how they compare to the No. 24157, but then I passed by Cdn. Tire and decided to just pick-up the 24157... I put them on the car and they fit on the bolt and they stay, but they're lacking the "flat" part that's present on the factory lugs... the "flat" part is the part with the washer that seats against the factory wheel... do you guys think I should keep running my car like this? Or is it dangerous? My notion is that it should be ok, because the other 4 bolts/lugs should be strong enough for non-aggressive street-driving, and the locknut could just be there to prevent theft of wheels/suspension-parts... right? Sorry for babbling. Thanks for any insight you guys can offer. Fred C
