An old highschool friend won 10k last week at the tims on Meadowlands in Ottawa. Maybe I should renew our friendship

7 for 50, 6 free coffees and 1 donut. Tims is running out of rim cups now, I got an extra large just so I could roll up the rim one more time.

Sadly, since moving out here, my wife and I have developed a taste for *gasp* Starbucks.
However, since we have special coffee grinder/brewing machines in the office courtesy of Uncle Bill, every coffee is free, and that makes it a win in my eyes.....

My wife won the camping gear during our last March in Canada.
Freaking awesome going away present....made me cry.

The last time I had a Tim's was on the way to Whistler last year and it gave me an awful rumbling in the basement, ifyaknowwhattImean.....
Not really a good thing when there are no rest stops on the side of the road.

Edit: I've bought about 35 cups (yes, I'm an addict), and have won 6 coffees, and 1 donut. I have yet to use my winning rims. I'll be "buying" the office coffees one of these days.

We have pretty good free coffee in our office too, but we also have a Tim's in the building. Almost nobody drinks the free coffee and the Tim's is always packed!!

Unfortunately I am about 0 for 12 on the rims this year.

It's an impulse for the incentive, to go nuts purchasing Timmies when it's Roll up the Rim season.

I for one, can't stand to imagine any of Canada's 30 million people winning a Rav4 when I should've and could've had a chance. So, I must buy a cup before the next guy in line.

Even with McDs and Country Style giving away free coffee, it's not a large campaign to get anyone super excited. Sure it's free coffee, but what else do you get??

At $1.52 (Lg) at Timmies one buys virtually a lottery ticket. That's what grips you.

True! I'll admit, my coffee drinking habits change a little during roll up the rim season. Instead of making one in the morning, I stop at timmies on the way in to work.

Won a muffin, 1 coffee and dropped it leaving the timmies, the ironic part is the cup I dropped was the muffin winner. I enjoyed it.
