Hi guys, I don't really like my stock Laser seats, they're pretty worn, lots of stains, etc...so I got a set of R1 Racing seats from my fiancees brother for free and I wouldn't mind trying them out, they're extremely comfortable too.

Anyway, it has sliders and brackets but the brackets are for an 89 CRX. Is there any way that I can take the brackets off of my stock Laser seats either by grinding them off or prying, whatever, separate the sliders..and just modify the brackets to bolt to the sliders on the race seats? Has anybody ever tried it?

If not, are there any recommendations for places to get brackets?

**Edit- After searching some more I see that Brandon Lee actually had the exact same seats and used 1G stock brackets, so I'm assuming it can be done, but is it a difficult task?
