Awesome street turbo. Hits hard and spools fast.

There is lots of reviews on other boards like dsmtalk and dsmtuners.

I'm going to pick one up one day.

If you want something with that kind of spool up and whp potential look into holset hx-40. You can get an hx40 off ebay for less than a 16g and you won't have to worry about it crapping out on you and taking your engine.

hx40 @40psi vs gt3076 @30psi. The gt3076 is maxed out and the hx40 still has more to go.

Well im looking to pay around 250-350$ for this turbo.
Im looking for a cheap turbo thats going to be better than my 14b, Im not looking for crazy psi somewhere between 15-20psi, I have stock internals and would most likely be doing a metal head gasket sometime this summer. I just dont want to be broke because of a turbo setup.

Please don't waste your money on a knock off turbo, this type of thing has been covered too many time to count on here & all the other DSM boards.

If your on a budget, look for a good used 16g, etc.

Its better to pick up a 16g then. The holset requires alot of parts external wastegate, custom intake, oil lines, exhaust housing and so on. Look for either a big 16g or evo3 16g.

a well setup small or evo 16g is hard to beat for cost, simplicity and street manners, and it can make enough power for 11's for sure, so PLENTY of street power.
