Hey, my name is Andrew Stewart. I just moved to Quebec just west of the Montreal area. My DSM is 1200 kms away. I don't know very many people yet and I would like to get to know anyone in this area. So if anyone wants any help with a DSM or whatever (for free lol) I will help out for sure. I have a toolbox of tools that need to be used. Hopefully I can learn stuff myself. Thanks everyone.

We have a very strong DSM community here in Quebec, the first thing to do is to go sing up for the DSM forum. http://dsmquebec.org/ . Make sure to read the instructions and email your introduction to Mike, the forum admin. Don’t worry if you cant read./speak French, you’d be surprised on how many people speak English in the Montreal area and club. If you need any help registering let me know.

Tip: The club is pretty much reserved and don’t like know it all newbs. Always search before a post and don't ask questions about gigantic spoilers or 20” rims.

You missed by about two weeks are annual Gala, it was a blast. About 80-100 people showed (including guests). We rented the Skratch in Laval (pool hall) and had a rather large catered buffet. Prizes we giving out as well as achievement awards to various members. Most of the guys live on the island and the North shore of Montreal (Laval) and a handful of us live on the South shore.

I live about 10-15 mins from any of the 3 bridges or tunnel so I’m not that far if you ever need anything. This year is going to be pretty big since most of the guys are running huge set ups. Drag racing happens at either Pont Rouge or Napierville speedway.

Welcome and let me know if you need anything,

Marc LaRocque

Ha! Compare that to trying to just get a simple meet organized with any other DSM group... (:

I'd move to Quebec but most contests and sweepstakes aren't allowed there. You know how it is... (:

Thanks for the responses guys. Too bad I missed the party too. I did join the Quebec DSM forum but I can not post anything. Mike and I e-mailed about newbies on thier site. Anyway. Thanks again guys.
