I really did miss the guy. I'm not expecting too much considering the car isn't very good, but Ferrari couldn't have done more for the sport by calling in the oldie. Too bad the next race is in 3 weeks!

lol they only had him play the stig cause ferrari wouldn't let anyone but micheal schumacher drive the fxx.

lol I really believe the stig is ben colins. But I have heard they think they use a different person for the stig from time to time.

Regardless its awesome Micheal is back. Altough I wanted Jenson button to win this season.

I have wished for his return since he left.
With any luck he will be as good as ever after a few races. Then once again the competition can resume shedding tears, crying foul and asking for rule changes.

I generally don't like drivers for their personalities, but for their ability to drive. When you're the winningest driver, everything you do is under scrutiny. Nobody gives a sh1t about the on track antics of the guys fighting for 11th and 12th, but these drivers can get just as 'dirty'. Schumacher would do anything to win, from the day he started, until the day he finished, including developing the car, surrounding himself with the best team, etc. That's why people want him back so much. There is no one else out there like that, except for maybe Alonso. The moment Hamilton got into a sh1t car, so was he. He whined and complained about it. Schumacher always pressed on, no matter what.

Anyway, that's why this work is so different. If we all liked the same guy, we may as well stay home.

Very well put.

Even Schumacher when on top gear said. If he wasn't with Ferrari and his team. He wouldn't of been so successful.

As for people saying best driver ever. I believe Senna would've been beating schumacher.

The problem here is Schumacher brings his attitude to the track, blocking people from the start and some other dirty tricks.
He won all those titles because Ferrari was waaay ahead, so the car was the winner, of course you need a good driver to drive that car.
I'm not questioning Schumacher's skills I just can't stand a guy like that and I think other F1 drivers share this feeling too.

For me there is not a best driver ever, you can't compare Clark with Senna or Fangio with Schumacher, different times, different rules, different cars etc.., all these drivers were good at their time.
