I wanna know if anyone knows where to buy these little tie strap things that hold an aftermarket electric fan to a rad. I bought a FAL Black Magic fan that I need to attach, but the brackets that it came with are stupidly designed, heavy as sh!t, ugly, and i dont want to use them.

Summit carries them... http://store.summitracing.com/product....pe=ecat

But i want to buy them locally

Thanks

I take my car apart quite often and gave up on those things, I found a tywrap poked through the rad with a nylon washer on it works great. O

n the fan side use another tywrap slid over the first one to hold it all together. I use this method to hold my fender covers on AND most of my front bumper tongue it has not ever given me any problems.

Use good quality tywraps and you will never have any issues IE: T&B TY27MX type military spec, available at any electrical wholsalers ( Eecole)

Make your own...visit a local Home Depot or something and look for different types...you may have to bend and twist a little but it'll probably cost a wopping $2 or $3.
