This transmission came with the 1995 Eclipse I bought, I haven't needed to install it since the original one is still working fine. This is an AWD transmission.
This is from Shep's site:
The Stage 3 is our most popular street strip trans. It is intended for those 400-600 hp street /strip cars that still want a fully streetable trans. without the worries of shattering your weak 3-4 sleeve or leaving your stock center diff guts all over the track PLEASE NOTE: All of our stage 3's now include a new intermediate shaft.
Included Features:
* New 1-2 Fork * New 3-4 Fork * New Shep Trans Spec 2nd Gear * New 1-2 Hub/Sleeve kit with Double Synchro Rings * New 1-2-3-4- 5-R Synchro Springs * New 5th Gear Synchro Rings * New Input, Output, and both Drive Shaft Seals * New Input Shaft Bearings * New Intermediate Gear Bearings * New Roll Pins * New End Nuts * New Center Diff Side Shims * New Nylon Shifter Pad * Shims for setting preload * Upgraded Torrington Bearing * Bead Blasted Case * 4 Spider Center Differential * Heavy Duty 3-4 Conversion * Transmission filter upgrade * Upgraded Rare Earth Magneture * 1990 pricing * NEW INTERMEDIATE SHAFT
I'm asking $1400.00, I'm in Didsbury, Alberta, you can e-mail me at codydyck@gmail.com

I'm still getting e-mails about this transmission, the situation is bad on my part for not properly researching the price of what I was selling and I'd like to apologize to everyone who I've talked to, this is a copy of my reply to a recent e-mail I've received: I haven't decided what I'm going to do if it doesn't sell on eBay, I had previously thought that Shep was selling this transmission on his site for $2000, but I was recently corrected and told that the transmission is selling for $3000 on his site. So I will probably raise the price due to the new information to $2000 and then slowly lower it if it doesn't sell from there. It's still a savings of $1000 for a never used factory new stage 3 so I feel it's more than fair.
I have talked to Shep and he told me that he is sure the transmission was sold to a shop in a batch then sold to the previous owner. I have also talked to Darin (FatBastard) who is a fairly well known DSM'er in Alberta who says that he personally was the one who lifted it out of the UPS truck when it was delivered to Dave from Shep.

I emailed John at shep this is what he said:
From: sales@sheptrans.com Sent: October 22, 2009 6:30:21 PM To: 'Tara Matthews' (taramatthews@hotmail.com)
I have had several people email me and I do recall the trans but what I can’t tell is the actual invoice # to look up the build. If I recall another shop ordered it and the billing went through them. The stamping tells me we built it for a 95-96 model year car.
Thank You
John Ya that's pretty much what he told me as well, I'm really amazed at how nice Shep is and how helpful he has been to everyone who has e-mailed him even though he will not make a sale from this.
