I just heard through friend of a friend, that Bob Clute will be getting out of Saturn - obvious reasons - and picking up Mitsubishi in the same location on Hwy 2.
It's about time we got a dealer closer than Peterborough to us.

I also have heard that Spencer GM in Cobourg may become a Mazda or Mitsubishi dealer. They are undecided, likely Mazda though.

Would be about time! I've been waiting for ages for a local mitsu dealership. I've heard rumours around the base about it too though, so we'll see!

Bob Clute and Mitsubishi don't mix if you ask me... But again I'd take it if it'd come along.

Friend in my appartment building works at saturn as of january there line up with be mitsubishi.

Kingston Mitsu... do they even exist anymore?! I've been trying to call them and gave up. Phone numbers dont work, and nothing comes up on an online search.

K-town's been down for a while. Too bad as I had good luck with their parts guy.
Peterborough seems good too. He's willing to listen when I tell him I had a Talon and need Eclipse parts. I've even had him ship small parts at no extra charge.

I heard ktown shut down. They were suppose to re open else where but never heard where or when.

Well, it's a linky to the paper where the ad is...Page 17. I know it doesn't SAY Bob Clute, but from my understanding (Because I know the girl that made the ad, the one that sold the ad, and the editor of the paper) he paid for it. It's supposed to be part of his 'Bob Clute Auto Group'.

But to be sure, I will ask tomorrow. Could be wrong, but I doubt it

Yeah, asked today.. Clute is paying for the ads, so it's him that owns it.

Funny story (Die hard Mitsu fans might not like)

My wife works at Earl and Angelos in Belleville as the bartender. I guess yesterday the owner of this Mitsu dealer was in there having a couple drinks. She didnt know he was the owner at the time, but I guess he was telling her how she should get an evo. He said it had 300hp, AWD blah blah blah. Then she said to him "Yeah, I like AWD and would love to have one, but if I was to get one, it would be a Subaru" She said the people around them got quiet for a second and then all were like "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BURN"

Thats when she found out he owned the dealership. I was proud.
