Went and saw this car today, and he's willing to let it go for a very very low price.

http://northbay.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-1998-Eagle-Talon-TSI-AWD-W0QQAdIdZ175577100

Tony is his name, and he's not new to DSMs. I picked up some parts from him today off his old 93 AWD, and I thought I'd throw this up here for him. Really good guy!

Cheers!

Your link seems to include something that replies to his ad with your name attached.

No idea if it was intentional, but he's going to get a flood of email wink

Malcolm with all that space in the new garage, you should buy it that way you can actually drive a dsm every now and again, instead of letting your beauty sleep year after year. lol

Somebody buy it thats going to take care of this car please, its in excellent condition, I'd hate to see it go to someone that doesn't know what they got..

Edit: And hey I still start up the old 1G every now and again, rip some dounuts in the laneway and and put her back nice and wet, bahah..

Ahh, I want this car, but I can't find a feasible way to get it to me.

Towing will cost about what the car is going to cost.

CAA? Or perhaps get a u-haul trailer. They are cheap enough to rent!

Dont worry alex, Malcolm is just bitter that he couldnt find a nice 2g.

He had to suck it up and buy a 1g eclipse from texas. So so beautiful tho, oh and no stupid rust.

Well, went back out there today to get a few parts I needed for my 93 to get it running, took a few pictures for another member, but figured I'd share the album for everyone else.

My personal opinion:

Overall the car is a 7/10. Interior is a 6/10, but it does have a black/grey dash which is a plus. Could use a grey 2G Leather swap.

Engine rolls, but doesn't fire, COOLTMP sensor not plugged in, and it was cold as eff out there.

Exterior is 8/10. Some rust, but not much. You'll see by the pictures.

Settle down there Alex "Diamond Star Motors Co." shut down and Mopar took over the production of the 2nd Generation Talons & Eclipses. Not sure of the exact history or tim einb which the events took place, but pretty sure DSM Co., ended in 1995.

WTF, where have you been?

And yes my jack stands are holding my car up nicely, thank you very much, in my garage under cover never to been seen..\

Nice Pics Ryan, glad you made it home, and I got my water un-froze rotate

So "technically" if I am reading this right, the 95+ are more Mitsubishi, than the predecessors...

Just thought I would stir the pot. smile

^^If you say so, stir away. But you'll find Mopar everywhere you look on a 2nd Gen, including the Mfg., ID tag if I remember correctly,.

What turbo is on that car? 16g/ 14b? and where does that "J-pipe" go? Does the car have any type of intercooler?

Yes, it goes to the stock sidemount, and it's a 14B.
