Falkens new Azenis tire looks the same as the old RT615 which is now out of production but it is said to have 2 or 3 lbs less carcass weight . The new RT615 K is going to cost almost twice as much as the old 615 but look for the price to come down after all the old stock is gone .

Double the price for a tire thats basically the same other then abit lighter? Do they think people are actually dumb enough to buy them? At their previous price, they weren't a bad deal, but their technology is out of date & there is better/newer technology at the same price. At double their old price, the competition is far superior to the 615's!

The old Falken Azena RT 615 had a huge following in the SCCA and other racing where minimum 200 tread wear was required . The only real competition they had was from the Dunlop Dizzera star spec in our class and that tire cost a lot more .

Here is the only info out on the new Falken Azenis 615 K and its just propaganda put out by Falken employee Tyler McQuarrie . If you notice Tyler wont give out any times compared to the old Azenis . I am starting to think i should go grab another set of the old ones(@ the old price) before they go out of stock .
