My car has a weird noise coming from the timing belt area, the timing belt is pretty new maybe 17000 kms.The tensioner is 11yrs old about 100000 km on it,the belt seems a little loose. Also the car idles a little rough,I'm wondering if it could be my balance shaft belts.

Stop driving it and get that tensioner replaced!
The rough idle is probably a vacuum leak or some other problem not related to the valve timing. Unless the rpm is steady while it's shaking - then perhaps you've lost the balance belt if it's as old as the tensioner.
I've seen motor mounts torn apart from a balance belt being stripped...

The rpm is dead steady while it is shaking. It might be a combo of tensioner and balance shaft belt what do you think?

Oh yeah and is it around 700rpm or higher? That's a normal idle.. Anything lower could make it shake (missfire).

You need to take it apart either way.

Whenever you replace your timing belt replace the seals and bearings as well. mechanics are not just trying to make more money when they say this should all be replaced at once.

I had a customer decline seals and tensioners on their pathfinder. The belt only lasted a year before they bought a new engine.

^^ I don't think seals and tensioners would finish of the motor unless there was a tensioner/pully failer, the Nissan motor was on its way out already. A mechanic tells you to replace the seals tensioners, pullies and water pump because he is in there and you don't want to do it again @ twice the labour charge and inconvinence so you change that stuff well its right in front of you as preventitive maintance, and you would feel pretty stupid if something leaked or failed even 6 months later, IMO.

I happened to check my t-belt and b-belt the other night and low and behold the b-belt was loose, eek, fixed that quick cause it is usually the cause of a t-belt failure our valve collision.

I found out what the noise was,it was my harmonic damper it seperated and was rubbing on the timing cover.
