Just wondering what alternators are compatible with the 2g talons, I heard people using one from a Saturn. Need a new one and looking for the cheapest way to go..

Hello Michael.

I found the best bang for the buck and decent reliability is to get your Alternator rebuild yourself. Pick a local shop; should cost you between $75 and $125 depending on the work that needs to be done.

I'm also looking for an alternator however I don't wanna go cheap. I want quality and reliability as usually you get what you pay for. What do you all suggest?

All components of the alternator can be rebuilt. If you were up this way there's guys in Sudbury that I highly recommend. Ryan has one of the alternators in his car.
