Whats the possible downfalls of running on three stock 2G TSi AWD shocks with one aftermarket shock replacing the blown rear stock one?
I've been having trouble finding stock shocks to buy, so if anyone is trying to get rid of any i'll take them off your hands1

I would say having one new shock of different stiffness would be better than having a blown shock. Ideally you should replace all of them. If one went out, the rest are not far behind. If you want to retain the stock-ish feel, get KYB GR-2's. If you buy from the states, they can be had at a reasonable price. (eg: www.shox.com )

I've always enjoyed going to Newfoundland. I'd rate it second after BC. And I've been to them all many times.
To point:
Go down to one of your beaches at low tide and watch how the crabs move sideways. That's what your car will look like going down the highway if you only replace one shock. I agree with the previous posts a minimum of 2 on the same axle and for an AWD 4 would be better.
Check the good guys/bad guys. Ziggy has a very good rep with this club.
Cheers Tony
