I would rather sell it to you for whatever stupid rate the bank buys than to the bank but it's a bit far, I let you know if I hang on to them and pas by your area.

I know exactly what you mean. I can remember the days when that "margin" covered not only their profits, but their operating expenses as well. In those days, they gave you a free toaster to open a savings account, and there was not such thing as a "service charge". Service was just the norm. Now they charge fees out the wazoo, and that big "spread" is just PART of their profit. They make BILLIONS a year, beat their own records each year, and they cry the blues...
I really get hit with Paypal, and you should see the fees they charge a business!! Every credit card transaction they take 2.5% right off the top. They did absolutely NOTHING, and in some cases they make more than I do on the sale!...
I shouldnt even get started on this..
