Wouldn't a map sensor properly logged to link be better for your boost than a boost gauge?

Is it as accurate as the wideband is when trying to log it with ECMLink?

Gm mas+translator. Not only do I get to make cool, ricey bov sounds but it made my turbo spool twice as loud too.
From 92 DL to 95 TSI AWD, 95 ESI and now 94 TSI FWD... No, I'll probably never learn.

Actually, my wideband and boost gauge are both dead on accurate.

Yeah, some people have had to put a buffer thing in, but it all depends on what input you use, IIRC this was a 1G issue.

And those HK$'s sounded amazing man! Thanks Ryan! They actually cost me the same as new BCs since I bought them used. I had BCs at one point but sold them for the HKS bump sticks. Sadly the only way I get to here them these days is by watching old videos of the car. Giving Ryan my VISA was my best mod. LOL, agreed.

Camber correction, front and rear. Saves tires, tires arn't cheap......unless you buy cheap tires. I agree, especially on lowered 1g's. I've seen a lot of modded 1g's without camber kits and neglected alignment. I remember burning through a set of tires every season when my camber was off. They were not my best mod though, but definately important

Another one would be switching from an Apexi N1 system to a true 3" system, I didn't know how much of a restriction it was till I got the new system (40-50 ft/lbs & hp gains in the upper rpms @ same boost level) That's what I'm hopefully doing this season. Did you just get a custom one made from an Exhaust shop? My best mod would be the MBC and turning up the boost Yes, first one was done by NoyzBoyz, I supplied the resonators & muffler/tips & they provided the SS pipe & installed. Current system I re-used the components from the old system & some of the SS & did the exhaust myself, then had someone come in to weld it all up. If you like the N1, you can just cut out the resonator that comes with the system & either install a straight piece of pipe (exhaust will be a good amount louder as it seems the resonator probably does more to quieten down the exhaust then the muffler does) or install a resonator that doesn't neck down internally like the Apexi one does. I used both lengths that Vibrant offers for mine, their 3" resonators are actually 3" all the way through (but won't be as quiet as the Apexi one either).
