Hey all;

I'm in the process of converting to SD.

Relevant information:

GM IAT is connected to factory IAT input
AEM 5.2Bar MAP is connected to RearO2
AEM Uego Wideband is connected to MAP (crossed wires when doing a re-wire... it works... )

I've got my trims down to damn near perfect with very little adjustment. When I swapped to my IAT on the T-Body elbow, threw my trims WAY off.....
My Boost/Boostest are VERY close.

I have done everything I think is right, yet when I do the switch to SD, the car will not start. I am assuming this is a noob thing.

I've tried the SDRatio Adjust and SDRatio Adjust CombinedFT, same result.

I've ignored IAT and weighted my fuel based on MAP only.

I've locked IAT and Baro.

I've disabled Smoothing.

All of this results in my car not starting.

When I switch while the car is running, it will stay running.

So what am I doing wrong?

I don't have the link, but if it stays running when switching over to SD, but wont start on SD, I say its to do with startup enrichment or something related to cranking fuelling/timing.

Also, and I am just educated guessing here, but if you have swapped wires, you may not be getting a fuel pump signal in your SD setup. Our cars do not key-on power up the fuel pump, they need a cranking signal from either the CAS or crank sensor.

I am less familiar with the 2g platform but I believe its at least similar.

As well, maybe do basic checks. When its cranking but not starting, check for fuel and spark. That way you are narrowing down the problem.

For those who are interested, the problem is my MAP is connected to my AEM gauge, which is powered through a relay triggered by the cigarette lighter. The CL does not have power during crank effectively killing my MAP sensor.

The solution is to ensure the MAP has constant voltage during crank/run.

Didnt know 2gs had stock IAT input.. wheres the sensor? cause that would have saved me from welding a bung into mine!

DSMAP guys claim that running the IAT sensor in the TB elbo will cause it to heat sink and not cool down fast enough. they recomend placing it in the ic pipe located outside of the engine bay. Or the cold side of the ic itself.

Why dosent link use the maf wires to monitor boost and intake temps?

The IAT input is off the MAF sensor, you have to use that pin on the ECU for it to work.
