I recently activated my account because this is the best forum for these cars, I have this dream/fantasy of buying one out of province and driving it back! (having said that, if I find something in Ontario I will buy it)

There really isn't too many of these around anymore, I have searched every Province on Kijiji and Autotrader and found a couple that I am really interested in but was wondering if there is an unknown source? (where do you guys look)

I am not looking for one that looks like it's an autobot or so heavily modified that it doesn't resemble the original car in any way shape or form. I had a stock 1G Talon Tsi and I loved it, I would love to have a 2G that someone has really taken care of and won't cost me an arm and a leg to buy and upkeep (kind of impossible I know)

I have checked this board and found a couple that I am really interested in but doubt they will be available by the time I am ready to buy...

thanks in advance guys

Hello Robert,

I have a 1998 TSi AWD that is 100%, and I mean 100% stock. Full service history on it, driven by a older gentleman for most of its life, who a- had money and b- did every little thing his servicing shop said to do....so its been very well maintained.

Its fully loaded, including leather power seats, sunroof and Infinty sound system...which is still ok by todays standards. It has 180,000km on it, although you would not think so by how nice it drives....interested in some pics?

Let me know, it truly is one of the last untouched survivor cars in mint shape. Hell, even the keyless entry and a/c still work!!! and this is the original keyless not an aftermarket system!!!

Let me know,

Talk soon

Jeff

anyone on this board recognize any of these beauties?

I tried looking at other satellite DSM sites but the only link working is the Maritime one and it doesn't look like too much is going on there.

Kijiji is a crap shoot since some people don't list the cars as either Tsi/Tsi AWD/GS-T/GSX, searching for Eagle Talon or Mitsubishi Eclipse yields a lot of hits but going from city to city is crazy! I wish Kijiji would just allow for a search of all of Canada.

this one keeps popping up:

is anyone familiar with LooLoo Auto or this car? just looking at the pictures I know I will need new tires asap possibly a paint job or a hell of a great wax job lol

LooLoo Auto is around the corner from me. I've seen this car parked out front but it has been up for sale for a LONG time. I haven't personally gone to see it, but I would assume something is wrong with it.

Also, you need to be careful with buying from a Used Dealership. 90% of the time they don't know anything and just want your $. I'll never buy from one again.

I like the last two 99's wink

See the ad? 400hp at 15psi? Thinking someone is in dream land, unless he means he currently runs 15psi but made 400hp at 24psi....

I have a mint 2g talon that has been converted to an eclipse. It runs perfectly and has a sound system capable of unhooking bras. If that fails I can also show you have to unhook a bra manually

Well you CAN search by province, easier than going city by city.

I feel like such a newb.... I always see the "change" beside location on Kijiji and feel compelled to switch it!

thanks for the positive feedback guys

Mike (Milton) I know EXACTLY what you mean about buying a Talon from a dealership, my first one was a gong show and I remember spending more time under the hood than in the seat. That is the main reason why I am posting here, I KNOW you guys have put the time/effort and love into these rides and have taken care of them.
I figured that thing has been sitting for awhile, too bad because it looks pretty slick.

Daren, the figures didn't add for me either! sharp looking car but why racing seats? argh.
