I can't seem to find these anywhere online on locally, so I figured I would try here to see if anybody might have a lead on them.

What I need is a: steel 1/4" dia. closed end blind rivet with a 1/2" grip range. All I can find in the 1/4" is either stainless or aluminium, but I need carbon/mild steel. I've tried the typical places: Bolt Supply, Greggs, Acklands, Anchor, etc...

Let me know if you can think of any speciality places that might have these.

Negative on Stuart & Wright, possible on Brafasco, waiting a call back by end of day.

Thanks for both though.

Found something that will work, Stuart & Wright pointed me towards Lloyd Nut & Bolt which can order in Huck Magna-Lok which is considered to create a sealed connection even though it isn't a close end rivet.

From all my calling around, including Fastenal, 1/4 closed end blind rivets only come in stainless or aluminium.

It is strange, I would consider the Huck a rivet, but apparently, that isn't its generic name, but the only people that were willing to look beyond just exactly what I wanted and to something that might work instead in my situation was Lloyd Nut & Bolt. Kudos Sven!

edit: Barfasco got back to me, and negative as well.

Yep, they don't actually carry it, their supplier is in Edmonton who is going to drop ship it to us. Should be here tomorrow.
